Language

All of our games are playable in both Finnish and English. Game materials are available in both languages simultaneously. Rules and briefing will be told in English, should you so wish. You can make the wish when booking or when you come to play.

Age restrictions

Our games as a rule are fit for all ages. On the games own page we place a special “game suitable for families” marking, if the game in question is fit for kids under 12 where it comes to its theme and mood. However, games and the puzzles in them are designed with adults in mind, and we do not take groups of only children to play in our rooms. Children under 16-years only when accompanied by an adult.

Escape room is a game where you as a group try to find your way out of a room. Your opponents are a series of puzzles, riddles and headscratchers which you’ll solve as you make your way through the game. If you manage to solve everything inside the game within a 60 minute time limit, as the final prize the door to the room will open and you have cleared the game.

Escape rooms are suitable for everyone. There are no required special skills or knowledge, nor do you have to be superhuman. Among the groups we’ve seen successfully completing a room are: A group of five whose average age was well over 65 years. A group of one adult and one child of less than 12 years old. A group of twentysomethings that had partied a little bit too hard before the game. And finally a group of mixed ages and professions from the same workplace, that had never seen each other before entering our premises.

The game doesn’t require you to be Einstein. A 15 year old who has attended basic education has had the opportunity to learn everything they might need to succeed in an escape room game. The only tool you might require while taking part in the game are eyeglasses, which we absolutely suggest you take along with you.

We recommend you to read the descriptions and take a look at the pictures of each room on their own page. How interesting the room sounds to you is a far better criteria for choosing a room than say the level of difficulty. Speaking of difficulty, it bears remembering that all our rooms are designed so one doesn’t require any specialised knowledge to make it through our games. Meaning, for example, a game themed as an agent adventure doesn’t give any kind of advantage for those who’ve worked their lives as a secret agent.

One room fits at most 5 or 6 people. If you’re coming with a larger group you can reserve more than one room at the same time. The maximum amount of players is announced at games’ own page.

Our games have been successfully played through by people suffering from both ailments. During the game the exit doors of our rooms are locked using electronic locks. However, the players have at their disposal an emergency opening switch throughout the game they can use to exit. Similarly, in case of a power outage or similar unforeseen circumstance the doors open automatically. It is impossible to get permanently stuck inside one of our rooms.

There’s no strict dress code in an escape room game. We do recommend you to leave your fancy dress, high heels or tuxedo at home, and wear loose and comfortable clothes. You’re supposed to examine the room thoroughly during the game, which might require you to bend, kneel, sit on the floor or even lay down on the floor at times. The games are played without shoes.

The game itself takes at most 60 minutes, and if you’re clever and resourceful you might get out much earlier. We ask that you arrive at least 15minutes before the start of your reserved time so you have time to remove your outdoor clothing, we have enough time to brief you on the rules and there’s enough time to pay for your reservation. If you arrive later than this requested time, it is possible that some amount of time has to be cut from your actual play time. Experience has taught us that questions you want to ask of us after a game, taking a picture of your team to remember your time with us and other such things can take up to 15 minutes after the game. So all in all you should expect to spend 1,5 hours in your game experience. There’s no limit to the “after game” portion of your evening, and we’ve heard people heading to a restaurant or cafe to discuss their games for hours after their experience.

The game is paid for on location using debit- or credit card, or with employee culture benefit vouchers from our accepted providers (such as Smartum, Edenred and ePassi). Businesses and organisations can also request payment via billing, in which case we add a 7€ billing payment to your bill. Bills will be sent as e-bills if not specified otherwise.

It is possible to cancel a reservation 24 hours before said reservation is meant to begin either via e-mail or by phone. If cancellation occurs later than this it incurs a 50€ cancellation fee. If no cancellation has been made and no one arrives to play a reserved game, the entire sum of said game will be billed.

Safety

It is possible to leave the escape room at all times. Each room is equipped with an emergency exit button, using which room can be exited at will. All doors are locked with electronic locks which are set to open in case of a blackout, so it is impossible to get accidentally stuck inside our rooms.

Accessibility

Our rooms are located on the second floor of a building without an elevator. More details on the accessibility of each of our rooms can be found on their own separate pages. We wish to service people of all kinds so if you have any questions feel free to contact us.

Rules of the game

The rules will be told to you on site, but to make it super short: You as a group have 60 minutes to solve the puzzles and make it out of the room. This will not require acrobatics or feats of strength, nor is it required or allowed to break anything inside the room. We do not allow consumption of alcohol on our premises.
